Gary C. Tipton's Obituary
Gary C. Tipton, 67, died Sept. 18, 2007, at his home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1939, in Hutchinson, the son of Carl and Monica B. Battershell Tipton. He was a resident of South Hutchinson. He attended schools in Hutchinson. He was a business agent for Iron Workers Union, Local No. 606. He served in the U.S. Army.
He belonged to Iron Workers Union, Local No. 606.
On Dec. 30, 1956, he married Ruby J. Cundiff in Kingman. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Dale L., Hutchinson, Tony, Hutchinson, and Greg Tipton and his wife, Gracia, Bel Aire; a daughter, Corinna Hamilton, Valley Center; two brothers, Gene, Wichita, and Donald, Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Brian Tipton on Feb. 14, 1995.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Cemetery.
