Gene Franz's Obituary
Gene Franz, 78, died May 14, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
He was born on April 11, 1933, to Cornelius and Kathryn Doerksen Franz in McPherson.
He was a graduate from Inman High School in 1952 and worked for Leech Product Inc. Gene was an avid member of the local YMCA for 23 years.
On Feb. 27, 1959, he married Loretta Geri Watson in Haven. She died in 1989. He leaves behind family and friends.
Cremation has take place and there will be no public services. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Elliott Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
