Genelle Cornelson, 97, of Hutchinson, died June 5, 2016, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born October 3, 1918, in Illinois, to Jacob and Ruth (Wilson) Montgomery.
She was a Title Clerk at Conklin Cars for many years, working until she was 92 years old. Genelle also made quilts for War and Peace Quilters in McPherson.
On April 3, 1950, she married David D. Cornelson in Hutchinson. He died April 2, 1993.
Survivors include: daughter, Debbie Herbison; grandsons, Ruben and Zach Herbison; three great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; and a brother, Charles Montgomery, all of Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Geneva, Erna, and Roberta.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery presiding.
