Geneva R. Sitton, 95, of Hutchinson, formerly of Arlington, died May 30, 2011, at her home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1915, at Abbyville, the daughter of Chester E. and Rosa E. Wingo Feese.

She attended school at Abbyville and was a member of the Arlington Un ited Methodist Church. Geneva was a longtime resident of Arlington, moving to Hutchinson in 2002. She was a homemaker.

Geneva married James Vern Sitton on May 22, 1935, in Hutchinson. He died March 18, 2006.

Survivors include: a daughter, Verna A. Rickett and husband Gene of Hutchinson; a brother, Bill Feese of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Grace Cook of Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Greg Rickett, Carolyn Kidd and husband Jim, and Sharon Wooten, all of Hutchinson; four great-grandchildren, Mark Gregg and wife Jessica, Keith Gregg, Megan Kidd, all of Hutchinson, and Zach Rickett of Wichita; and four great-great granddaughters, Cassidy, Emily, Brittney, and Zoey Gregg, all of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Wayne and Earl Feese and four sisters, Eva Milburn, Mable Crossland, Genevieve "Tiny" Sickmon, and Wanda Basnett Kidd.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Arlington Cemetery, with Reverend Mark Conard presiding. A visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
