George "Bud" Montford, Jr., of Blackwell, OK, went to be with his Lord on September 14, 2023. He was born August 17, 1942, in Hutchinson, KS, to the late Dorothy and George I. Montford, Sr. Bud was the oldest of two children.

On September 11, 1996, he married Carol Henry Robinson in Miami, OK. Bud served in the United States Army. He was employed by Dillons Warehouse in Hutchinson, KS, and retired after 32 years.

He is survived by: his wife, Carol of the home; daughter, Terri Jacoby (Chris) of Wichita, KS; son, Monty Montford of Wichita, KS; daughter, Tina Anderson (Mike) of Blackwell, OK; and son, Troy Robinson (Misty) of Belton, MO; grandchildren, Allison Montford (Xavier & Jordan), Ryan and Molly Montford (Maverick), Chase and Oliva Hugo (Hudson), Jack Jacoby, Grant Jacoby, Brooke Nisly (Brynna and Broderick), Tanner Allen, Bailee Allen, Lauryn Anderson, and Landry Anderson.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, KS. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
