Georgiann Welch, 84, died April 14, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1923, at Hutchinson, the daughter of George T. and Charline Graves Allison. She was a retired bookkeeper for Architectural Millwork and had also worked at Wiley's and Gordon's. She belonged to the First United Methodist Church.

On April 11, 1943, she married Donald R. Harmon. She later married Jack R. Welch on July 2, 1965. He died on July 29, 1998.

Survivors include: sons, Robert Harmon of Bradford Mass., Richard "Kim" Harmon and wife Peggy of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughters, Kali Standish and husband Tom of Kansas City Ks.; stepchildren, Rick Welch and Janet Williams, both of Topeka; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Conard presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. A private family burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to the Hutchinson Heart and Vascular.
