Gerald-Lee D. Smith's Obituary
Gerald-Lee D. Smith, 73, died Feb. 15, 2010 at his home. He was born July 28, 1936 in Hutchinson to Oscar Lee and Syvia Fay McCurdy Smith.
He was head custodian at School District 60 in Pueblo, CO. Then he worked at Hutchinson Foundry and Steel, and retired from Dillon's Bakery Department.
On February 14, 2005, he married Donetti L. Barnes in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include son, Brad A. Smith, Hutchinson; daughters, Rhea R. Smith Lopez and Felisha Marie Smith Jones, both of Colorado; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; step-son, Wayne Powers; step-daughters, Christina Cunningham and Stacey Powers, all of Hutchinson; two step-granddaughters; 2 step great-granddaughters.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Elliott Mortuary.
