Geraldine C. Coonce's Obituary
Geraldine Cecilia Coonce, 81, died Oct. 15, 2005, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Qulin, Mo., the daughter of Harlen Earl and Velma Calvin Carter. A resident of Nickerson since 1983, moving from Yuma, Ariz., she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Christ's Bible Church, Nickerson.
On March 23, 1940 she married David William Coonce in Summerton, S.C. He died Aug. 11, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Danny and Jimmy Earl, both of Hutchinson; two daughters, Gale Cash, Summerton, S.C., and Kathy McAllister, Nickerson; a sister, Betty Cumbee, Spokane, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David "Billy" William Coonce Jr.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, with Pastor Destry M. Cowell presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice House, in care of the funeral home.
