Jerry Page, 80, of Hutchinson, died Nov. 21, 2012, at Hospice House.
Jerry was born Jan. 10, 1932, in Coffeyville, the son of Loren M. and Lucille Bryant Page.
Jerry graduated from Murtaugh (Idaho) High School in 1949, attended Brigham Young University and graduated from DePaul University in 1963. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was Vice-President of Operations at Cole-Parmer Instrument Co. in Niles, Ill. Jerry was a member of The Church of the Holy Cross in Hutchinson, and an honorary lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He belonged to Holy Cross Council 7279 and was a 4th Degree member of Columbia Assembly 0287. Jerry was a Past Grand Knight at Queen of Peace Council in Barrington, Ill. He was honored to serve as a District Deputy for the Knights both in Wichita and Bend, Ore.
Jerry married Juanita Lorenz on June 18, 1955, in River Forest, Ill. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Jeff Page and his wife Ann Hentzen Page of Hutchinson; a daughter, Gail Greaney and her husband Mark of Sisters, Ore.; a sister, Phyllis Elsing of Twin Falls, Idaho; and 18 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sisters; and a sister, Linda Burris.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Ascension Cemetery in Wichita. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
