Gertrude F. Kilgore, 91, our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2012. Gertrude was born in Delphos, Ks, and was raised in Hutchinson, where she met and married Delbert Kilgore, who preceded her in death in 1991. At the time of her death, she was a resident of the Golden Living Center-New Haven in Odessa, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Delbert; her mother and father, Dana and Laura Hockett; sisters, Virginia Shea and Leona Siegrist; and granddaughter, Laurie Kilgore.

She is survived by: her five children, Judy Gondek (Roger), Blue Springs, Mo., Del Kilgore (Linda), Galveston, Texas, Mary Lou Pierce, Star, Idaho, Steve Kilgore (Sharon),Haysville, KS, and Penny Hobbs, St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Audrey Friesen, Hutchinson, and Donna Taxes, Louisville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, with Pastor Derek Brown presiding. Friends may sign the memorial book Sunday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tenth Avenue United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

Mother was blessed with many friends that knew her, as well as our father. She will be missed.
