Gina Marie Navarro, 41, of Hutchinson, died May 4, 2010 at Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson.

She was born Sept. 14, 1968, the daughter of Peter M. and Remedios O. Olmos Navarro.

A lifelong Hutchinson resident, she was a 1986 graduate of Hutchinson High School and she graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1992 with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She was a member of the Church of The Holy Cross, and enjoyed spending time with her boys, camping, and being outdoors. She was an assembler at Electrex Inc.

Survivors include: her sons, Bryan Matthew and Anthony T. Navarro and Devin and Daniel Porting, Hutchinson; her parents, Pete and Remedios Navarro, Hutchinson; and brothers, John Charles Navarro, Steven Navarro and his wife Connie, Martin G. Navarro and his wife Tonia, all of Hutchinson, Peter E. Navarro, Austin, Texas, and David A. Navarro and his wife Margaret, Wichita.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2010, at the Church of The Holy Cross, Hutchinson, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. A parish rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the church prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park. Ms. Navarro will lie in state Saturday 1 to 9 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family greeting friends Sunday 4 to 6 p.m., all at Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson.
