Gladys M. Kretzer's Obituary
Gladys M. Kretzer, 93, died May 23, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1912, in Gypsum, the daughter of Elmer and Lilly Kilmer Hoffman. She attended Gypsum High School. A resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Forest Park Presbyterian Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
On June 24, 1929, she married Oscar LeRoy Kretzer in Manhattan. He died Feb. 7, 1987.
Survivors include: two sons, Don, Partridge, and Doug, Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by a son, Bob; a brother, Paul; and a sister, Ruth.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Forest Park Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Chris Davis presiding. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Gypsum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to Forest Park Presbyterian Church or Hospice Care of Kansas, both in care of the funeral home.
