Glee F Tripp's Obituary
Glee F. Tripp, 86, died Nov. 15, 2008, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born Feb. 13, 1922, in Omaha, Neb., the son of Frank Edward and Eva Frances Doyle Tripp. He was an architect.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
On June 24, 1945, he married Helyn V. Ward. She died June 1, 2006. Survivors include: a daughter, Virginia Kretzer, Nickerson; and two grandchildren, Mark Kretzer, Hutchinson, and Kathy Shank and husband Jerry, Hutchinson.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Robbie Fall presiding, with military graveside rites conducted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
