Glen A. Scott, 76, died Jan. 3, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Haven, the son of Fred and Dolly Foster Scott. A resident of Hutchinson, formerly of Haven, he was in commercial construction business for over 50 years.
He belonged to Sandhill Saddle Club, Hutchinson Horse Shoe Club and was past vice president of National Saddle Club Association.
On Sept. 11, 1948, he married Bernice Johnson in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Glen and wife, Sandy, Henderson, Nev., David and wife, Diane, Hutchinson, and John and wife, Gina, Hutchinson; a brother, Bob, South Hutchinson; two sisters, Mary Dodge, Hutchinson, and Mildred Horner, Kenoska, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Carla Martin and Carolyn Mitchell, Las Vegas, Jake, Megan, Tyler, Clayton, and Coy Scott, all of Hutchinson; four great-grandchildren, Chandler and Parker Martin, Calvin and Syerra Mitchell, all of Las Vegas.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Laurel Cemetery, Haven, with Pastor Robert L. Albin officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. The casket will be closed. Military graveside conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.
