Obituary

Glenn Ray Law, 83, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2015. He was born Oct. 27, 1931, in Hutchinson, the son of Harvey and Ella (Redd) Law.

He was a 1949 graduate of Hutchinson High School, a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War, aboard the USS McCoy Reynolds. Glenn was a member of the VFW Bob Campbell Post #1361, the American Legion Lysle Rishel Post 68, the United Steel Workers of America, Local 12606, and had worked at Morton Salt Co. for 37 years, retiring as tool room supervisor in 1992.

On April 10, 1955, he married Elsie Fern Cokeley. She survives. Other survivors include: three sons and their spouses, Tony (Linda) of Hutchinson, Kelly (Billie Jo) of Lyndon, Barry (Melissa) of Hutchinson; ten grandchildren, Stacey Hosinger (Rob), Stephanie Glazier (Jesse), Derek Law (Megan), Alex Law (Molly), Katie Law (fiancé Phillip), Matt Law, Jamison Law, Bethany Baum (Scott), Allen Nelson (Keisha) and Nick Nelson; six great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard Law (Lucille) of Bethany, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Willard Clay; and a sister, Darlene Angel.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Warren Hett presiding. Burial with U.S. Navy Honors will be at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Reno County Veterans Memorial, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
