Gregg A. Armbruster, 51, died March 8, 2006, at his home, Hutchinson.
He was born June 17, 1954, in Hutchinson, the son of William E. and Gertrude Biggs Armbruster. He graduated from Hutch-inson High School in 1972, attended Hutchinson Community College and graduated in 1973 from Central Kansas Area Vo-Tech with a degree in auto mechanics. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was a 31-year employee of Eaton Corp. in the assembly and material-handling department.
He belonged to Faith United Methodist Church and was a member of International Association of Machinists Union.
On Dec. 26, 2004, he married Anette Hawk in Las Vegas. She survives.
Other survivors include: two sons, Bill and Chris, both of Hutchinson; a stepson, Andy Farmer, Hutchinson; a stepdaughter, Lisa Mason, Hutchinson; a brother, William E., Wichita; two sisters, Vicki McCluskey, Augusta, and Gloria Carter, Waunakee, Wis.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Brent Clayton presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, all at the mortuary. Private family burial will be at a later date.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County or Northwest Gospel Chapel, both in care of the mortuary.
