Harold Lynn Dickey, 89, died August 27, 2023, at Legend Senior Living of Hutchinson, KS.  He was born April 15, 1934, in McAllen, TX, to Charlie and Ethel (Thomas) Dickey.

Harold was a dedicated employee of Ref-Chem for 40 years.  After retiring, he enjoyed his lifelong hobbies of fishing, hunting, and golfing.  He loved to garden and cook for family and friends.  He will be missed.

Harold is survived by: his wife, Barbara Dickey of Hutchinson, KS; children, Patrick Dickey of Hutchinson, KS, Karen Gray of Mineral Wells, TX, and Elisa (Greg) Herrman of Hutchinson, KS; brother, Greg Childress of New Mexico; stepdaughters, Patty (Gary) Zellner of Marienthal, KS, and Lorrie Caldwell of Hutchinson, KS; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; wife, Eugenia Dickey; infant son; one brother; two sisters; grandson, Leonard Dickey; and son-in-law, Jerry Gray.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Boulevard, Hutchinson, KS.  Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
