Harold John Gossman, 78, of Hutchinson, died July 5, 2021, at his home. He was born February 13, 1943, in Decorah, IA, to Francis and Mae (Ryan) Gossman.

Harold graduated from high school in 1961 and served in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1965. After his honorable discharge, Harold went to work for IBM and Collins Radio before moving to Tucson, AZ, to work for Tucson Electric Power, retiring in 1999. A Hutchinson resident since 2005, Harold loved being outside working in his yard and volunteering for Friendship Meals and Sundance Farms. He was of the Catholic faith.

On July 15, 1978, Harold married Marcie Padgett, in Tucson. She survives.

Also surviving are: sons, Ken Gossman of Magdalena, NM, Bill Gossman (Rachel) of Ankeny, IA, Jonathan Wiest (Angela) of Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Liam Gossman, Kinlee Wiest, Adyson Gossman, Noah Gossman; and numerous extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Howard Gossman.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
