Obituary

Harold F. Gough, 83, died August 26, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.

He was born March 20, 1925, in Galesburg, Kansas, the son of Arthur and Opal Killian Gough.

On August 3, 1948, Harold married Helen P. Winans in Hutchinson. She survives. They celebrated their 60th anniversary this month.

A member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, he was a retired painter from Davis-Child Motor Company after 33 years and the former owner/operator of H&G Automotive until 1994. Harold was a World War II Army Veteran.

He is survived by: his two sons, Steven and wife Lisa, Wichita, and Greg and wife Tiajuana, Springdale, Ark.; grandchildren, Matthew and wife Caitlin Gough and Alexandria Gough; four brothers, Melvin, Kenneth, Buford and Gary, and a sister Neva Martin.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008, at Northminster Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Skip Johnson presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Interment will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, with military graveside rites conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Memorials may be sent to the church in care of the mortuary.
