Harold Joseph Heimerman, 76, died Dec. 14, 2006, at Hospice House.
He was born Sept. 12, 1930, in Wright, the son of Aloys Anthony and Mary Barbara Menges Heimerman. He graduated in 1948, from St. Teresa's High School, and in 1950, from Adela Hale Business College. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was an automotive salesman.
He belonged to the Church of the Holy Cross, and the Knights of Columbus, both in Hutchinson.
On Sept. 5, 1953, he married Donna Mae Egbert in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: five sons, Daniel Joseph, Hutchinson, Douglas Mark, Alvarado, Texas, David Paul, Arlington, Texas, Donald Allen, Ost, and Darin Gerard, Reno, Nev.; two sisters, Doris Case, Pierce City, Mo., and Bernice Campfield, Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Reynold and Lawrence, two sisters, Jeanette Kaja, and Mary Teresa Beckett, and a step-grandson.
Rosary will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of the Holy Cross, Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church, with Father Joseph Eckberg presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
