Harold B. Taylor, 85, died Nov. 15, 2009, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.
He was born May 15, 1924, in Walton, to Robert L. and Elsie May Warren Taylor. He graduated from Peabody High School, Peabody. He was an engineering liaison at Cessna, retiring in 1987.
He belonged to the First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the U.S. Marines.
On Aug. 27, 1948, he married Dot Mae Logan, in Newton. She died March 16, 1978. On April 21, 1979, he married Hazel Naomi Dunn in Hutchinson. She died Nov. 16, 2005.
Survivors include: daughters, Nedra and Tom Greenfield, Odessa, Mo., and Terri Ramos, Hutchinson; stepchildren, James and Ann Dunn, Hesston, Kenneth Dunn, Chicago, Donnie and Janice Dunn, Lawrence, and Kathy Dunn, Plevna; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; 11 step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda May Taylor, two brothers, a sister, and a step-grandson, Jeff Dunn.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, at the First Church of the Nazarene, Hutchinson, with Pastor Doug Wyatt, Pastor Bones Nay, and the Rev. James Dunn presiding. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, in Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
