Harriet Withrow's Obituary
Harriet Withrow, 87, died Feb. 14, 2007, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1919, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Ernest and Winifred Barnes Reed Adamson. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she had been an operator with Southwestern Bell Telephone from 1949 to 1962, and then worked for Deming Studios.
She belonged to the First Assembly of God Church.
On April 30, 1949, she married Joseph E. Withrow in Hutchinson, He died June 23, 1999.
Survivors include: two sons, Joseph, Hutchinson, and Philip, McPherson; a sister, Alice Bates, Garden City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James and Danny; a daughter, Julie; four brothers, William, Jess, Ray and Chester Reed; three sisters, Mary Wells, La Vica Rucker, and Ruby Adamson; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Father Michael Milliken presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
