Obituary

Harriett Gaye Smallwood, 71, died Dec. 20, 2016, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 1, 1945, in Ainsworth, Neb., to Guy Maurice and Mary Genevieve (Hannah) Boller.

She graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1963 and attended Bethany Nazarene College in Oklahoma. Harriett was a child care provider for over 30 years, an active member of Union Valley Bible Church, and a greeter for Young At Heart Ministry. She loved Jesus and her family.

Harriett is survived by: brothers, Maurice Boller and wife Phyllis of North Platte, Neb., and Marvin Boller and wife Edie of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Leonda Dail Smallwood.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at Union Valley Bible Church, 1916 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, with Pastor Steve Hodgson officiating. Inurnment will take place in Resthaven Cemetery, Oklahoma City, Okla. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Valley Bible Church or Young At Heart Ministry, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
