Harry Lee Pitts, 48, died August 12, 2011, at Hospice House. He was born July 29, 1963, in Hutchinson, to James Marvin Pitts and Shirley Ann McKee Novotny. He graduated from Little River Windom High school in 1982. Harry was a custodian at the Hutchinson Recreation Commission, USD 308, and worked at Consolidated Manufacturing. He owned and operated Harry's Lawn Service since 1982.
He married Sherry Lynn Moore on April 13, 1985, in Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Steve Lee Pitts (Ashley), Newton, and Jamie Reed (Jennifer), Hutchinson; daughter, Amber Rose Stafford (Brett), Hutchinson; grandchildren, Harry William Ocon, Terry Lee Pitts, Colton Michael Stafford, Aden Dell Pitts, Kailey Reed and Preston Reed; brothers, James Pitts, Hutchinson; four sisters, Alice Pitts, Judith Beecham, Edith Castaneda and Patricia Hoffman, all of Hutchinson.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011, at Elliott Chapel, with Pastor Tim Yates officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park. Visitation will be 9-9 Saturday and Sunday with the family to receive friends from 6-8 Sunday at Elliott Mortuary.
