Harvey A. Peters' Obituary
Harvey A. Peters, 66, died Feb. 9, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Aug. 24, 1941, in Hutchinson, the son of Clause K. and Martha E. Klassen Peters. A lifetime resident of the Hutchinson and Inman areas, he was a farmer, truck driver and had worked for the Co-op Steel Plant on East Fourth.
On Oct. 5, 1963, he married Nancy I. Strouse in Plevna. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Scott A., Hutchinson; a daughter, Janice A. Deaton, Sherman, Texas; and three grandchildren, Kylie Peters, Hutchinson, and Trevor and Brandon Deaton, Sherman, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Helen M. Fisher and Martha Peters.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Matt Stafford presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
