Helen M. Cole's Obituary
Helen Mae "Dolly" Cole, 79, died Feb. 24, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Aug. 2, 1926, in Red Wing, the daughter of Adolph and Matilda Maul-er Kahler. She attended St. Teresa's Catholic Scho-ol. A resident of Hutchinson since 1985, moving from Denver, she was a silk finisher at Jimmy Hayes Cleaners, Hutchinson, and moved to Denver in 1960, where she worked for Colorado Lace as a silk finisher.
She was raised in St. Teresa's Catholic Church.
On Oct. 25, 1949, she married Bruce G. Cole in St. Joseph, Mo. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sisters, Alta Prevo and her husband, Clyde, Christina Parks, and Cecilia "Pat" Cole, all of Hutchinson; and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Martha; and a sister, Gertrude Shipley.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, with Father Stuart M. Smeltzer presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the donor's choice, in care of the funeral home.
