Helen E. Corwin's Obituary
Helen Eleanor Corwin, 78, died March 29, 2010, at her home in Hutchinson.
She was born Sept. 24, 1931, in Hutchinson.
She was a homemaker. She had attended Westbrook Baptist Church.
She married Lawrence Gene Corwin on Sept. 1, 1950, in Hutchinson. He died March 15, 2008.
Survivors include: a son, Bruce Corwin and wife Lori, Kokomo, Ind.; a daughter, Cynthia Hague and husband Kelvin, Derby; a brother, Eugene Theiss, Independence; sisters, Lillian Swalley and husband Frank, Huntsville, Ark., and Edna Fairchild, Lakeland, Fla., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marjorie Dixon.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, at CrossPoint-Westbrook Campus (formerly Westbrook Baptist Church), with Chaplain Art Maddock officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Crematory and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas in care of the mortuary.
