Helen M. Lemen's Obituary
Helen M. Lemen, 79, died May 22, 2007, at her daughter's home.
She was born on May 14, 1928, in Junction City, the daughter of Clifford and Essie Mae Pickett Harrison. She was a longtime resident of Hutchinson, and had also lived at Ft. Riley from 1961-69 & 1970-72. She was a homemaker.
On May 14, 1946, she married Donald C. Lemen in Hutchinson. He died Oct. 10, 1988.
Survivors include: two sons, Donald C. Jr., Wichita, and Dennis W., Lafayette, La.; two daughters, Kathy M. Hargett, Hutchinson, and Debbra L. Bowen, Havelock, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairlawn Burial Park with Chaplain Randall Turner presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas, in care of the mortuary.
