Helen Roberta Ludlow, 85, died Sept. 14, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Hutchinson, to J. Arthur and Hilma Edlund Johnson. She graduated from Haven High School. She was a homemaker
She attended Emanuel Lutheran Church. She was a yard work enthusiast.
On April 8, 1944, she married Francis W. "Eddie" Ludlow in Lyndon. He died March 10, 1987.
Survivors include: sons, Edward and wife Tami, Wichita, Jerry, Oklahoma; and Chris and wife Amanda, Florida; daughters, Vickii Delgado, Wichita, and Kay Scharlach and husband Greg, California; brothers, J. Arthur Johnson and John "Denny" Johnson, both of California; sisters, Anna Hill, Hutchinson, and Arleen Smith, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday Sept. 17, 2009, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tim Carey presiding. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
