Helyn V. Tripp's Obituary
Helyn V. Tripp, 94, died June 1, 2006, at Hospice House.
She was born June 2, 1911, at Denver, the daughter of Carl and Chloe Knight Ward. A resident of Hutchinson since the 1930s she worked at the Tea Room and Wiley's Department Store.
On June 24, 1945, she married Glee F. Tripp in Oklahoma City. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Virginia Kretzer, Nickerson; grandchildren, Mark and wife, Robin Kretzer, and Kathy Shank and husband Jerry; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Bob Kretzer.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Ron Lowry presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to the donor's choice, in care of the funeral home.
