Howard "Warren" Boman, 79, of Hutchinson, died May 1. 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1942, in Great Bend to Ross and Hildegarde (Gales) Boman.

Warren graduated from Garfield High School in 1961 and later from St. Mary of the Plains College. He was the office manager for the Clark County FSA. Warren loved to garden, fish, and hunt. He was the president of the Hutchinson Community Garden for 20 years. Warren was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, Hutchinson.

On May 6, 1967, he married Annie Fairchild. They shared 57 years together.

Warren is survived by: wife, Ann Boman, Hutchinson; son, Ryan Boman (Dawn), Kansas City; grandson, Ross Boman, Hutchinson; and granddaughter, Kyria Ann Boman, Manhattan.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; siblings, Dorothy Lutz, Richard Boman, Don Boman, and Leonard Boman.

Rosary will be 10 am Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, with Father Matt Glazier officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday with the family present at Elliott Mortuary.
