Howard L. Taber, 66, died June 17, 2007, at his home in Hutchinson.
He was born Nov. 7, 1940, in Centralia, Ill., the son of Marvin and Julia Williams Taber. He was a Hutchinson resident since moving here in 1950, when he moved here with his parents from Kearney, Neb. He graduated from Buhler High School in 1959. He was a machine operator with Farmland Industries Steel Building plant. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include: one sister, Barbara Morton and her husband, Bill, Conway, Ark.; one aunt, Edith Williams, Hutchinson; and one nephew, Sterling Morton, Conway, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairlawn Burial Park, with Pastor Willard D. Stafford presiding. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Fairlawn Park.
