Ida M. Marciano, 82, died Sept. 30, 2009, at Elm Grove Estates, Hutchinson.
She was born Nov. 7, 1926, in McCracken, the daughter of Barnibus B. and Bertha M. Lewis Brandt.
She graduated from McCracken High School. A resident of Hutchinson, she retired after 20 years as a photo processor at Deming Studio in Hutchinson. She had previously worked at Broadacres Nursing Home and Mennonite Manor.
She was a member of the former Peniel Church of the Nazarene and was very active in the Women's Christian Organization, both in Hutchinson.
On March 14, 1944, she married Samuel E. Marciano in Pratt. He died Sept. 27, 1988. Survivors include: sons, Sam R. and wife Cheryl and Fred B. and wife Sharon, all of Hutchinson; daughters, Patti Harbold and husband Jim, and Anna McDonald and husband Charles, all of Hutchinson; brother, Harold L. Brandt, Ankeny, Iowa; sister, Viola Androes, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, James L. Brandt; and a sister, Dorothy Palischak.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Paul Danner presiding. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
