Ileine Hoefer, 83, of Hutchinson, died December 5, 2020, at Hospice House. She was born June 12, 1937, in Kingman, to Earl and Dorothy (Pipkin) Day.

Ileine was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College. She worked in medical records at the Reno County Health Department. Ileine was a member of Westside Baptist Church.

On January 24, 1958, she married Phillip Hoefer, in Hutchinson. They shared 49 years together before he passed away on November 30, 2006.

Ileine is survived by: sons, Robbin Hoefer (Debbie), Scott Hoefer (Brooke), both of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Eric, Brandon, Ryan, and Jade Hoefer.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Phil Hoefer; brother, Melvin Day; and granddaughter, Elyse B. Hoefer.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 21, 2020, at Westside Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Adrian officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020, and 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign the book December 10 ^th through 20 ^th at Elliott Mortuary.
