Imogene F. Hall, 76, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 13, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Kenneth and Clova (Andrews) Gruver.
Imogene graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1957. For many years she did work for individuals and area merchants as a seamstress. Imogene was also well-known for being "Mrs. Claus" for many years in the downtown Christmas parade.
Imogene married Richard D. Hall Oct. 3, 1957, in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: daughter, Joleen Jantz (Tony) of McPherson; son, Kevin Hall (Karen) of Wichita; and brothers, Stanley and Steven Gruver, both of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with Reverend Jeff Slater officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
