Inota M. Gilley-Shuff, 72, of Hutchinson, died Dec. 13, 2011, at her home. She was born July 14, 1939, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Otis M. and Inez Wagner Gilley. She attended Central Christian High School in Hutchinson.

She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Inota had been a co-owner and operator of Hamburger Palace for 10 years and later was a co-owner of 3 Generation Crafts. She also had provided day care in her home.

Inota married Gary Shuff on Dec. 9, 1956, in Hutchinson. He died April 4, 2010.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary Shuff and wife Karen of Inman and Garland Shuff and wife Sarah Steele of Wichita; a daughter, Gaynota Hendrickson and husband Guy of Hutchinson; five grandchildren, Aaron Hendrickson, Tessa Hendrickson, Madeleine Shuff and Chelsea Torrez; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Garland Gilley and Odell Gilley.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011, at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, with Pastor Eldon Smith presiding. The casket will remain closed. A register book may be signed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, all at Elliott Mortuary.
