Irmgard "Irma" Lemen, 74, died Sept. 9, 2011, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born July 3, 1937, in Ulm/Donau, Germany, to Max and Elizabeth Diessler Blank.
On Aug. 28, 1957, she married Meryl R. Lemen in Budigen, Germany.
Irma worked in cosmetics at Wiley's and in the Mezzanine at Pegues. She loved to play bingo and go to the casinos to gamble. She was a member of The Father's House.
Survivors include: her husband, Meryl R. Lemen, Sr., Hutchinson; two sons, Meryl R. Lemen, Jr., and wife Adriana, Hutchinson, and Brian Keith Lemen and wife Lisa, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four grandchildren, Andrew Paul Lemen, Katelyn Elizabeth Lemen, Lauren Michelle Lemen and Alexandria Arceneaux; three brothers, Hansel, Werner and Peter Blank, all of Germany; and a sister, Margot Blank, Germany. Irma was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Liselotte Kalmbach.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at The Father's House, with Bishop Quintin Moore officiating. Cremation has taken place. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
