NICKERSON - Izetta L. Schriner Schinstock, 70, died Dec. 14, 2010, at Hospice House. She was born at home on Feb. 15, 1940, in Woods County , Okla., the daughter of Hurchel M. and H. Irene Reihm Smith. Izetta graduated from Cleo Springs, Okla., in 1958, and then attended Northwestern State College, Okla.
Izetta was a housewife and farmwife. She was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church, formerly known as Westbrook. She was also a speaker for the Christian Women's Club, and had memberships in the Stonecroft Bible Studies, Great Plains Antique Tractor Club, Salt Creek Social Club and she guided Bible studies at Wesley Towers.
On Aug. 30, 1959, she married J.D. Schriner in Hazelton, Kan. He died July 27, 1994. She then married Don Schinstock on April 21, 1995, in Hutchinson. He survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Schriner and wife Kim of Colby, Kan., Scott Schriner and wife Jane of Inman; two stepsons, Randy Schinstock and Rod Schinstock, both of Wichita; two stepdaughters, Michele Pitts and husband Kelly of Buhler, and Rachele Strawn and husband Mark of Hutchinson; three sisters, Carolyn Renshaw of Cleo Springs, Okla., Colleen Willms of Kingfisher, Okla., and Donna Rich of Enid, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Aaron Schriner and wife Ashley, Gabriel, Hannah, and Hope Schriner, Darby, Candace, and Caleb Strawn, and Nate and Lacy Pitts; and a great grandson, Caden Schriner. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather, and her husband, J.D. Schriner.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Crosspoint (Westbrook) Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Shelton presiding. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will be in Penwell-Gable Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
