Obituary

Jack L. Polley, 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Nov. 2, 2011.

He was born on Oct. 9, 1936, in Marshall, Okla., the son of Ora Joseph and Dorothy (Reed) Polley.

He graduated from Preston High School, Preston, Kan., in 1954, and then Pratt Junior College in 1956. Jack served with the United States Army. He was a member of Medora Community Bible Church and was the director for Young At Hearts for 14 years. Jack was the owner and operator of Polley Associates Insurance Agency. On

May 22, 1965, he married Sandra Kay Spain in Kingman, Kan. She survives. Other survivors include: three daughters, Lorri Johnson and husband Wayne, Shelli Duree and husband David, and Kristi Winters and husband Brian, all of Hutchinson; sister, Kathy Bowman and husband Richard of Nickerson; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Medora Community Bible Church, with Pastors Richard Burns and Wayne Johnson presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Private family graveside service will be held prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medora Community Bible Church, for the Underground Chinese Pastors, in care of the mortuary.
