Jacquelyn "Jacque" Crabtree Villmer, 72, of Hutchinson, took her last breath, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, on January 7, 2024, at Ascension Via Cristi St. Francis, in Wichita, Kansas.

Born February 7, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Graydon and Ruth (Carpenter) Crabtree, Jacque graduated high school in San Diego, California, in 1969. She served her family as a homemaker, devoting most of her time to her children and beloved grandchildren. Jacque was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had an immense love for reading and loved to learn and research family history. More than anything, she loved her friends, family, and especially adored her grandchildren.

On February 12, 1983, Jacque married the love of her life, Bernis C. Villmer, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Together they formed a life of love and devotion, starting a family right away and were able to celebrate 40 years of marriage together!

Jacque is survived by: her husband, Bernie Villmer, Yoder; daughters, Rebecca Crabbs (Michael), Wichita, Heather Lynn (Brent), Arkansas City; sons, Kendall Villmer (Beth), Pratt, Justin Villmer (Jessica), Glendive, Montana; stepchildren, Ted Villmer, Mary Lubbers, and Chris Villmer (Kim); grandchildren, Ember, Jane, Jack, Jena, Jett, Jesa, Cadence, Harrison, Josi, Waylon; great-grandchild, Ash; many other step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Laurel Crummine, Kathleen Remington, and Michelle Driver.

Jacque was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., with a public viewing from 10-10:45a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 518 E 43rd Ave., Hutchinson.

Friends who are unable to attend the service may sign a memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Wednesday through Friday, January 10-12, at Elliott Mortuary.
