Jake Alan Ramsey's Obituary
NICKERSON - Jake Ramsey, 46, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
He was born May 16, 1963, in Hutchinson, to Hal and Doris Ging Ramsey. He graduated from Nickerson High School. He worked for Bridgeman Oil Company.
He belonged to Nickerson United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: a son, Colby, Elida, Ohio; his parents, Nickerson; a brother, Mike and wife Tiffany, Hutchinson; a sister, Susan Adkins and husband Troy, Olathe; and niece and nephews, Sydney and Nick Ramsey, and Trent and Ty Adkins. He was preceded in death by a son, Chance.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Trinity United Methodist Church, with Bruce Kaufman presiding.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Colby Ramsey College Education Fund, in care of the mortuary.
