James E. 'Jimmy' Pace, 59, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, October 13, 2018, at his home, in Hutchinson. He was born October 4, 1959, in Burlington, North Carolina, to Mack and Nina Mae (Griffin) Pace.
Jimmy graduated from Buhler High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. He retired as a machinist at Eaton Corporation. Jimmy enjoyed automobiles, motorcycles, fishing, and his pets.
Jimmy is survived by: daughters, Stephanie Pace of Hutchinson, Karla Boardman (Brian) of South Hutchinson; grandchildren, Hannah, T.J., Jack, Brantley, Karson; mother and stepdad, Nina and Larry Dreiling of Inman; brother, Tim Pace of Wichita; aunt, Jearline Arrowood of Graham, NC; and many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by: his father; grandparents; and aunts, Linda Crawford and Ann Cates.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Elliott Chapel, with Ryan Wray officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. The family requests those attending to dress casual. There will be a dinner following Jimmy's service for all attending.
