James "Jamie" Krieg, 62, died Feb. 17, 2007, at Hospice House.
He was born March 14, 1944, in Hutchinson, the son of Harold Andrew and Ruth Lucille Poulton Krieg. He graduated in 1962 from Hutchinson High School. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was a retired carpenter for Dillons stores.
He attended Grace Bible Church.
On Nov. 25, 1999, he married Colleen McNary in Potwin. She survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, Tracy and Robert, both of Hutchinson, Kendall Jackson, Dodge City, and Kelsey Jackson, Topeka; two daughters, Kelly Collins, Hutchinson, and DeAnna Colangelo, Rosalia; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a nephew, Ron Krieg, Hutchinson; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Gale Krieg; and a sister, Patricia Bernard.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Bible Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Rick Goertzen presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson.
