Obituary

James Logan "Jim" Lewman, 85, died Oct. 27, 2013, at his home. He was born June 29, 1928, to Oscar Logue and Ella Edith Chamness Lewman, at their home in Jasper County, Mo.

He worked twenty years for Kelly Flour Mills as a packer and twenty years for Dillon's Warehouse as a warehouseman. He was a member of the local #795 Teamster Union.

On June 20, 1950, he married Hazel Mae Green in Arkansas City, Kan. She died June 8, 2013.

Survivors include: sons, Wayne Lewman and wife Alice of Wichita, Shawn Lewman of Hutchinson; granddaughters, Abigail Trimble, Ginger Lewman and husband Eric Luby, and Rachel Lewman; sisters, Cora Inman of Vinita, Okla., and June Gregory of Moore, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; and sisters, Bessie, and Pearl.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, Hutchinson, is in charge of arrangements.
