James W. "Butch" Dunsworth Jr. passed away Dec. 26, 2010, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, due to congestive heart failure. Jim was born April 2, 1946, in Deerfield, Ks, to Celia and Jim Dunsworth. He attended Holcomb Grade School and graduated from Holcomb High School in 1964. He served in the National Guard from 1965 to 1971. He was a former truck driver and worked for IBP in Garden City for a number of years. He moved to Hutchinson in 1993 and worked for KTC and retired from the State of Kansas Department of Corrections in 2003.
He married Bobbi Hall Glass on Sept. 15, 1994, in Hutchinson. Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Jimmy Dunsworth and wife Angie, Garden City, Ks, Darren Konrade, Protection, Ks; daughter, Kim Burns and husband Kenny, Jetmore, Ks; stepson, Robert Sims and wife Jennifer, Hutchinson; nine grandchildren, Zach, Miranda and Tia Dunsworth, Darian, Alec and Cody Konrade, Josh, Haley and Skyler Burns; three step grandchildren, Blake, Ross and Kayli Sims; sister, Esther French and husband Don of Garden City, Ks; numerous nieces and nephews and his lucky dog Hank.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, William, Lester and Art and a sister Faye Clark.
