Jan D. McClelland, 60, died April 21, 2006.
She was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Kinsley, the daughter of Patsy Eugene "Gene" and Wanda Winona Finlay Holland. She graduated from Kinsley High School, and attended K-State, taking horticulture and floral design. She was the owner of Prairie Magic Floral, and manager of the Pic Quik at 30th and Waldron. She taught floral design and arrangement at Hutchinson Community College, and worked for Hutchinson Floral, Kay's Floral, Car O' Jans Floral, and Nan's Floral.
She belonged to Altrusa International and attended Faith United Methodist Church.
On July 31, 1967, she married Jim McClelland. He survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Bart and his wife, Christina, Hutchinson; her mother, Wanda Holland, Holcomb; three brothers, Randolph Eugene Holland, Arizona, Robert Clayton Holland, Seward, Neb., and Max Holland, Murdock; a sister, Bettina Sue Holland, Holcomb; and four grandchildren, Nichole, Brittany, Kerynne, and Trent.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Rod McClelland; and her father.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the register from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park.
