Janelle Krenzin, 84, died Feb. 17, 2008, at Pleasant View Home, Inman.

She was born March 29, 1923, in Plevna, the daughter of Walter Edwin and Olive Claire Pieplow Rapp. She graduated from Reno County School, now Nickerson High School. A lifetime resident, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of Ladies Bridge Club and the Study Club.

On July 27, 1941, she married Myron Krenzin at her parents' home. He died Aug. 16, 2007.

Survivors include: a son, Steven Krenzin and wife, Cinda, Chanute; a daughter, Judy Krenzin, Renton, Wash.; a brother, Galen Rapp, Topeka; a sister, Rosemary Engelland, Hutchinson; two grandsons, Brian Krenzin and wife, Becky, Abilene, and Brent and wife, Amy, Wellsville; and three great-grandsons, Tyler, Christopher and Conner.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Gayla Rapp presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Elliott Mortuary. A private family graveside service will be held.
