Janet Mae Clarke, 87, died April 19, 2023, at Hospice House, Hutchinson, surrounded by her children. She was born March 16, 1936, in Plevna, to Faye and Ida Mae (Lindahl) Davidson.

Janet was retired from Dillons and spent her retirement years watching her grandchildren grow. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and most of all quilting.

On July 1, 1955, Janet married Gary O. Clarke, in Hutchinson. They shared over 66 years of marriage prior to his death on September 16, 2021.

Janet is survived by: her children, Lynette (Toby) Morris, Dana Point, CA; Cindy Wise, Olathe, KS, and Pamela (Steve) Adam, Hutchinson; four grandchildren and one great grandson.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; one brother and her beloved dog, Sport.

A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12pm to 8pm Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
