Janice Fay Arjes, 72, passed away June 5, 2022, at her home.  She was born September 18, 1949, in Hutchinson, KS, to Jimmy Jack and Cora Francis (Patrick) Holland.

Janice was a graduate of Ellsworth High School, Ellsworth, KS, and Brown Mackie Business College, Salina, KS.  She was a homemaker and was employed in the real estate business.

Janice enjoyed working in her garden, art, and traveling.  She loved animals and served as the president of a local humane society.

Janice is survived by: her son, Jeff (Sunam) Arjes of Severn, MD; grandsons, Christopher Arjes and Ryan Arjes; siblings, Mike Holland of Moundridge, KS, Carol (Rick) Carrazco of Ellsworth, KS, and Marla Holland of Hutchinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kevin Holland.

Cremation has taken place.  Celebration of Life gathering may be scheduled at a future date.  Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501, is in charge of arrangements.
