GREAT BEND – Janice Sue Bounds, 70, died March 20, 2016, at Via Christi on St. Francis, Wichita. She was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Springfield, Mo., to Harold and Bessie Jewel (Baker) Combs. Janice was a 1964 graduate of Fort Scott High School. She was a homemaker and an in-home health caregiver for many years.

Survivors include: children, Bryan Bounds and wife Jamie of Hutchinson, Jason Bounds of Hutchinson, Michelle Williams of Great Bend; grandchildren, Lacey Wheaton and husband Adam, Samantha Williams, Kristen Williams, Kaetlyn Bounds, Ashlyn Bounds; great-grandchildren, Steven Wheaton, Natalie Wheaton, Jullian Chavez, Amy Tiemann; sisters, Mary Lou Freed and husband Ron, Wanda Wilson, Sue Wickware. Janice was preceded in death by her parents.

A family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Elliott Mortuary.
